So who here is a fan of Johnny Depp? I know I am. So I was especially anxious to see his portrayal of the famed public enemy John Dillinger. And let me add to that, I wasn't disappointed. Depp's knack for truly becoming the character he is playing, left me recommeding this film as a must see. Depp leads an all star cast including, Christain Bale, Marion Cotillard, and many, many more!

I recently viewed the film Orphan and was stunned that it was not that bad. I'd heard bad review from the critics but when I viewed it myself, I fould that I actually found it tolerable. The cast was great. Isabelle Furhman scared the living crap out of me as Esther. That little girl can act. And all around I would recommend you to see it. It has a surprising twist on the end which I did not suspect.

This might have already been reported but oh well. Katy perry dumped that other guy for Russell Brand. I find this to be a dumb move since this girl can't sing live at all. He helped her career by hiding her faults and the thanks he gets is to be dumped by a talentless singer for a fad of a celebrity? Russell Brand clock on fame is ticking but the gym class hero lead singer and producer has a lot more time. Why would anyone leave a producer/singer/songwriter for a comedian? I bet she will regret that decision when it's time for that new album. Good luck Katy!

I was once told by a very bitter and pessimistic man that I should just give up writing. That I would never make it in the film industry as a writer so I just just give up and quit wasting my time. This is coming from the same man who has no job and no real chance of a future. You see it doesn't really matter if I ever make it. It would be nice (very nice), but not essential. And if I ever do he'll be the first man I thank when I win an award. Thanks Gary you're A okay in my book.

Her name is Chibi and is quite the attractive one. Her band mates are Rainbow, Michael, Rhim, Owen, and O.E. Yeah their names are unique to! Is has been reported by Tmz and NbcNews Pulitzer Prize-nominated author and poet Maya Angelou was taken to the hospital late Saturday evening for as-yet-unknown causes.

Maya who is 81 is in Los Angeles to be honored at the Brave Heart Awards.

Angelou is best known for her activism in the Civil Rights movement . She was nomintated for the Pulitzer Prize for her 1971 poetry collection "Just give me a cool drink of water 'fore I Diiie"

A few days ago 50 cent held a block party for his neighborhood. We have to give him his just due for this one. He through a free party with music and food. He even performed live with G-unit. Say what you want about him and what he did/does with his life. He cares about his community and this finally proves it. I've recently viewed the Sam Mendes film Away We Go and was sadly disappointed. Although John Krasinski, (who will forever be a fav of mine no matter what he does) and Maya Rudolph had a good amount of onscreen chemistry. It lacked that certain wow factor. The look that spreads across your face after you see an amazing film or might persuade you to go buy it even. I don't think that will happen with this one.

Roman Polanski Finally Arrested

Well it's about frigging time. The pedophile director has been evading arrest for the last 31 years for having sex with a 13-year-old. Polanski was arrested in Zurich this weekend when he traveled there to the Zurich Film Festival to receive an award. He can fight extradition to the United States if he so chooses. Switzerland being the neutral country that it is and all.

In 1977, a young girl claimed that he sexually assaulted her at a photo shoot at Jack Nicholson's house. The arrest warrant, issued in 1978 after his failure to arrive in court, has been outstanding all these years. Polanski has avoided returning to the US all the years to avoid arrest, although he has continued to work as a director.

Previous paperwork filed to have Polanski picked up in other countries that also exercise extradition arrangements with the US have fallen through, whether because Polanski found out ahead of time or he just changed his mind about going is unknown.

Polanksi is now 76, married and the father of two. I personally hope that he is extradited and tried in court. If he is innocent then great, but the fact that he chose to stay away from US soil all these years, not showing up in court when he was supposed to certainly lends credence to his guilt. Nobody should be allowed to get away with that sort of thing. Of course, at his age and with his status, the possibility of his actually spending time in jail is small. I mean, he did win an Oscar for 'The Pianist'. At any rate, he at least needs to step up and get it behind him. Be man, suck it up and all that crap. Oh, and let's not forget to have it on Court TV so all of us can watch the travesty of justice of our legal system. Or maybe he can at least be jailed for that piece of crap 'Rosemary's Baby'?

Mackenzie Phillips Claims 12 year Affair With Dad

While appearing on Oprah this week, Mackenzie Phillips dropped a bombshell: She had a 12 year affair with her father, founding member of "The Mamas and Papas".

She claims that he would shoot her up with drugs and then rape her, but says that is was a consensual affair. In his mind, they were making love. Her sister, Chynna Phillips, has also appeared on Oprah in support of Mackenzie.

While not happy to be there, she did confess that she was told about it. Little sister Bijou Phillips is torn between believing her and wishing that if it were true that her family would not have let her live with him as a young child. She states that the man who raised her was not capable of that sort of thing.

If the family knew, why the hell didn't they stop it? And definitely, if they knew, why would they allow him to have a young child live with him??

Mackenzie Phillips had her 15 minutes of fame back in the 70s as a star on "One Day at a Time". Her career derailed as she struggled with drugs. Last year she was arrested at LAX for possession of cocaine and heroin while on her way to a reunion show. John Phillips died in 2001.

According to a recent interview in USMagazine it seems that Los Angeles Lakers Power Forward Lamar Odom and somewhat Tv star Khloe Kardashian are planning to get married.

It seems that Khloe and Lamar met at a party in L.A. and ever since then they have been partying the summer away. At the Guys and Dolls club in L.A. earlier this month, Kardashian "would pull him up to dance and steal kisses here and there...every time a good song came on," a witness says.

Odom says " I'm very happy Khloe is smart and beautiful and that is very hard to find".

Silent Hill 2 To Finally Be Made

For fans of the original, good news: The sequel has been announced.

Three years after the release of the first movie, starring Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean, has finally been announced. Roger Avary will return to write the script (maybe he'll have actually played the game this time?) and producer Samuel Hadida is back as well. No word on whether Sean Bean and/or Radha Mitchell will return. But, if they were to go by the games themselves, there isn't any need for either of them to return.

The second game revolves around James, who returns to Silent Hill after having received a letter from his dead wife telling him to meet her there. And of course once he gets there, all hell breaks loose. James meet Pyramidhead....Pyramidhead....yeah, one scary guy. They actually put him in the first movie...where he didn't belong....sigh.

We loved the games, and finally gave in and watched "Silent Hill". While it was visually stunning, and damn if they didn't make the town look like the games, the storyline really didn't have much to do with the games. They took part of the premise and mashed in new stories, completely changing the main characters around. Yeah, we had issues with it. Maybe this time it will be done right. But ..........

....we really don't hold much hope for it.

We were watching the VMA's and couldn't believe what we saw. Taylor Swift actually won a moon man!

And if that wasn't strange enough Kanye West decides to interrupt her speech and tell the world that Beyonce had one of the best videos ever made. We don't understand his reasoning but was that really necessary? We understand that he works for her husband and all but whoa! Does he have a hard on for her or what?

That award was none of his business and he should have stayed in his seat and enjoyed a good show. The VMA's hasn't put on a show this good since the music was worth listening too. Why is it always a rapper that interrupts someone else's acceptance speech? It's entertaining and done for shock value but it also makes them look ignorant and disrespectful.

Every year or so MTV brings their version of reality competitions. It is called the RW/RR challenge! This year the theme and feel of the challenge is called The Ruins.

It has 28 of our favorite old school and new school competitors (If you want to call them that) returning. Some people who we haven't seen in a long time such as Ibis, Darrel, Syrus, Veronica, Susie, and Wes returns. And then there are those who need to get lives such as Kenny, Johnnie, Derrick, Tonya, Diem, Dunbar, Katie, and Johanna all return.

The best part about these challenges is not the challenge itself but the fights and drama that insures.

We LOVE that..!!!

Money is on the line yes but, does that give these crazy people the right to act like fools? The big brother house doesn't get this crazy. Yeah they have arguments and fights but nothing like the ones MTV has. I don't know where they found these people but most of them need to seek help or grow up.

We will say the show is entertaining and We, like a lot of other people, enjoy the action, competition, and drama of these shows. It's always fun watching people make a fool out of themselves as long as its not you.

Mark McLeod (no relation to the "Highlander") joined a $60 a year fan site called MileyWorld.com and was led to believe he was friends with the 16 year old singer/actress. He tried to ask Miley to marry him at a Book Signing and then was arrested on Tybee Island, GA and charged with a misdemeanor criminal intent to commit stalking a month ago.

Now, his situation gets a little more dire. His case was transferred from State Court to Superior Court and the Judge is putting him before a Grand Jury, if indicted he will face Felony charges.

The man never even made contact with Miley but is still convinced that she is his Fiancée and that she sent him "secret messages" through the Disney Channel Hit Show "Hannah Montana".

Ok, now personally, We think the remake thing has been played out.

Apparently TPTB at Fox don't agree as they are planning on a remake of 'Heathers' as a weekly show.

So many things wrong with that...

We really don't see it being adapted as a TV show working. Besides the fact that we loved this movie, is there really anyone out there right now that can take Winona Ryder's place as Veronica? That'd be like remaking 'The Adams Family' and not having Christina Ricci as Wednesday. You can't really stretch the premise of the movie out as a weekly series.

Most movies are not meant to be turned into a TV series. 'Parenthood' is a prime example. They tried it back in the day and it bombed badly but obviously NBC has forgotten that and plan on doing it again.We’re fine with Maura Tierney, but we don't think she will be able to save that show. Some have said that Hollywood has run out of ideas, but we think it's more a case of they've gotten too damn lazy to do their jobs.

Maybe it's time to start paying attention to new talent instead of retreading the same hacks over and over...

oh, and can we end the stupid 'Saw' series now? Please?

This is not what science-fiction movies are supposed to be; far-thinking, sometimes uplifting, always thought-provoking, not a video game come to life. Interesting characters, well-reasoned science (eve when fantastic), these are the factors that make solid movies in this genre...of of which District 9 lacks...in spades.

We know how District 9 got made, we understand why it is popular but it's a video game, nothing more and while we like video games as much as the next guy (we don't play them, but we like them) a video game is not a movie and visa versa.

So hide the kids, keep grandma inside and do yourself a favor, don't go.

DJ AM Found Dead One Year After Plane Crash

DJ AM, also known as Adam Goldstein, was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in his apartment by NYC Police. Friends were concerned when they hadn't heard from him in a few days and called police to check on him after going to his apartment and not receiving a response. Drug paraphernalia was found near the body.

DJ AM, 36, survived a plane crash and second and third degree burns just over a year ago when the plane that he and Travis Barker were on crashed.

Shannon Moakler, ex-wife of Travis Barker, posted on her Twitter page a message of condolence. Lindsay Lohan, also a friend, was upset and saddened by the news according to her Twitter page. Friends say he seemed fine, even throwing out the first pitch at the New York Mets home game last week.

In some more disturbing news a woman with two children was found in a man's backyard, living there!

It turns out that Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped 18 years ago and was being held capitive. She gave birth to the kidnapper's two children during the 18 years. It was stated that she was just 14 when she gave birth to the first one!

As the investigators searched the house they found new evidence about potential murders and admitted to dropping the ball on finding the girl sooner. They received a phone call in 2006 describing the situation. They believe if he was convicted sooner they could have saved some lives.

In today's world we are surprised and sickened that these things can still happen in America. The nearby ~~retards~~ neighbors knew of something strange but refused to tell anyone. They claimed to have just wanted to mind their own business and not get involved.

Over in Russia, the evening of March 14, some 32-year-old fool identified as "Viktor who underestimated the power of women in general, and specifically the power of women named Olga, thought he'd rob Olga's beauty shop.

Well surprise, surpise as Olga subdued him and hand-cuffed him (in pink fur handcuffs). Instead of calling the police, Olga decided to mete out her own special brand of justice. There is a lot of outcry when acts of so-called vigilantism are performed. I personally think that most vigilantes should be locked up as they have no sense of justice, but simply want an excuse to hurt people and get away with it. Most are no better than the criminals they purport to despise.

In this case, however, I applaud fair Olga for her sense of true justice. No eye-for-an-eye hypocrisy for Olga. No, she simply punished him fairly in the most effective way she knew how. She did not cause him irreparable harm, she did not kill him, and she did not try to hide what she'd done. She told the police, “Yes, we had sex a couple of times. But I’ve bought him new jeans, gave him food and even gave him 1000 roubles when he left.”

The would-be thief admitted she had fed him well.

I toast dear Olga and wish her all the happiness the world has to offer. And I sincerely hope we all learn a lesson from her: the only proper response to violence and hate is love.

The sick fuck wanted in the murder of model Jasmine Fiore was found dead in a motel in Hope, just east of Vancouver, of apparent suicide. He took the coward's way out and hung himself.

Ryan Jenkins was wanted for the murder and mutilation of Jasmine Fiore. He dismembered her, pulled her teeth out, cut her fingers off and then dumped her in a dumpster. Guess 'Happily Ever After' wasn't something he wanted to do. Guess this saves the state of California a nice little bit of time and money not having to try him.

Hopefully this will also make the networks and cable channels institute some sort of policy on thoroughly checking out people before putting them in reality shows.

Orange County prosecutors have officially filed charges against Ryan Jenkins in the murder of Jasmine Fiore. The manhunt to find him stretches all across the U.S. into Canada.

Jasmine, who was a contestant on "Beauty and the Geek" and "Rock of Love" and had appeared in "Playboy" magazine, was found Saturday shoved into a suitcase and dumped in the garbage after having been reported missing by family. VH1 has pulled the show from their lineup, wanting to distance themselves from the drama. Surprising, since you'd think they'd want all the publicity they could get.

According to 51 Minds, the producers of the show, they were not aware of his prior conviction in Canada in 2007 for assault. Safe to say that maybe from now on, contestants on these kind of shows should go through a thorough background check. I mean, really, if a factory that makes cereal makes you pee in a cup and go through a thorough background check, shouldn't they do the same for these idiotic shows?

You won't hear it it in the mainstream sports news, but the New England Patriots quarterback's aging body is a prime target for National Football League defenses all over the USA.

And why not? One hit got him out for most of the 2008 season with very little cost to the player or team that did the damage. Why should we expect any less in 2009.

If one of the other 31 teams doesn't do it I will be really surprised. The uniforms in football should be worn by baseball and basketball players. The uniforms in football need to be just short of armor. But the owners don't want the sports to be safer because danger sells.

Sports fans, like most of the "developed" world population, are lost and have no unifying task to work on like all of us working together to really increase lifespans. Instead, most who have money and influence are satisfied with some trees outliving us, or think bunches of nerdy scientists in labs can get the job done.

Oh darn, another reality show bites the dust. Personally, I hate all things reality. But in this case, it's not bad ratings that did the show in. One of the contestants is under suspicion of the murder of Jasmine Fiore. Ryan Jenkins has not been officially charged of the murder of Jasmine Fiore, but things aren't looking too great for him.

The show completed wrapping in March. VH1 wants to distance themselves from this kind of press and have chosen to hold off airing this season where Jenkins was a contestant. Rumor is that he was the $250,000 grand prize winner. It was unsure at the time of press whether he was actually married to Fiore or not. According to her mother, the two had been dating. Fiore was found Saturday morning stuffed in a suitcase thrown into a garbage can.

I'm sure this won't completely kill the show, but at least VH1 has decided not to air these episodes, at least until her murderer is charged and convicted.

A previous ruling has threatened to force Word off the market due to a patent infringement over its use of XML. The changes Bill Gates needs to make to the program could take months and go well past the deadline.

Big Brother 11, Post Chima

Last night’s episode of Big Brother 11, showing the footage leading up to Chima’s early eviction from the house by the show’s producers for “breaking the rules,” was anticlimactic, to say the least.

Sunday’s episode kept us on the edge of our seats after CBS issued a statement early Saturday morning saying that Chima had been expelled from the house. Sunday’s episode ended with low-key acting out by Chima (just a bitchy attitude about everything, which isn’t that unusual for her). The announcer informed us to watch Tuesday night “…as one of the houseguests self-destructs and is evicted from the house.”

Last night, after weeks of threats, ranting and raving, and reverse-racist/anti-men shouts, The Wicked Witch of the West went out quietly. After throwing her mic into the pool, covering up cameras with blankets, and repeatedly refusing requests by Big Brother over the loudspeaker, the producers escorted her out.

Chima wanted to get kicked out. She’s a sore loser who happened to be in a position of power (for the first and only time) and was overthrown by America’s vote for Coup d’Etat, Jeff. Chima thinks it was all a conspiracy against her, when that special power would have been used by Jeff on most anyone in power at the time. That’s just the way Chima thinks: that everyone is out to get her.

Just when we thought the house would be calmer, Lydia, the tattooed, stuffed animal-loving, brat, then flipped her lid… Stay tuned…

He recently was releashed from prison and was told he has to find a way to pay America back for their loses. Richard doesn't know what to do because he is broke. I don't think you or anyone else could deny that we, as homosexuals, face discrimination."

VH1 Reality Star On The Run For Murder...

According to TMZ Jasmine Fiore was found in a trash bin in Buena Park last Saturday morning dead and stuffed in a suitcase in Orange County. Buena Park PD a person of interest in the murder of a Playboy representative is Ryan Alexander Jenkins, who was a contestant on a VH1 reality show.

A police official told us they fear the 32-year-old Jenkins, a resident of Calgary, may be fleeing to Canada. As the official put it, "It's suspicious."

Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on "Megan Wants a Millionaire," which airs on VH1. We're told he was among the final contestants. The winner has not been announced on the show, which is currently airing.

VH 1's site describes him as an investment banker from Calgary who "Says he has left many amazing women in his life primarily because ~~they realized he was a psycho~~ he wanted more women," ………" Jenkins also claims that he "molds 'player girls' into 'princesses ~~or else~~ '."

WOWOW the A-hole just couldn't handle the VH1 pressure could he .......Imjussayin
